Huni Bolliger works as an artist, animator and film maker from her tropical home in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia. She studied a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Fine Arts), followed by a Diploma of Education in Secondary Art Teaching at the University of Sydney. In 2008, Huni completed a Masters of Film, Television and Animation, (Honours) at the University of Melbourne.
Throughout her career, Huni has taught both traditional art and digital art techniques in secondary schools and universities. She loves creating a warm and welcoming space in an art room, and she takes great joy in facilitating other people’s creative journeys.
Huni is a practising artist, she makes art for films, animations, web and print. She works in a broad range of styles and mediums, often combining traditional and digital techniques to express her love of texture, colour, light and form. Huni aims to create unique images, filled with power and emotion.
